Launched in 2025, the purpose of the CU Boulder School of Education External Advisory Council, or Advisory Council, is to: Ìý
- act as an advisory body for the School of Education at the bet365 malaysia,
- advise the dean and the leadership team on issues relating to school priorities and/or initiatives; Ìý
- strengthen our partnerships and deepen the impact of the school's work in the community, state, and the country; Ìý
- encourage resource development through advocacy for state and federal funding, private grants and gifts to benefit the school through the University of bet365 malaysia Foundation;
- help support the education, outreach, and research programs of the school; Ìý
- recognize achievements of alumni and other supporters of the school; and
- assist in publicity and public relations concerning the school and in support of public education.Ìý
The Advisory Council shall consist of up to 25 regular members, as determined by the dean and the executive committee, with additional ex-officio members as deemed necessary and agreed upon by the dean. Included among the ex-officio members shall be the dean, associate deans, director of special projects, the assistant dean for communications, and assistant dean for advancement. The Advisory Council members have expertise in the following areas: Ìý
- school districts; Ìý
- state and federal education departments; Ìý
- educational non-profits;
- other industries that could help expand the School of Education's research mission, reach, and funding; andÌý
donors and alumni.
The Advisory Council will consist of two standing committees: the Executive Committee and the Advancement Committee, with ad hoc committees created as needed to address issues of particular concern to the school, committee members, and community.
